LAST ALARM

MIFDI President Mark Roche regrets to report the death of MIFDI Member Captain Terence A. Koen of the Boston Fire Department, retired.
Terry passed on Saturday, July 18th, 2009, he was 74 years old.
Terry began his career as a call firefighter
in his hometown of Chelmsford, Mass.
He was appointed to the Boston Fire Department
on May 1, 1968 assigned to E-3 in the South End.
He was promoted to Lieutenant on August 16, 1978
assigned to E-29 in Brighton.
His promotion to Captain was March 7, 1984. After a
brief assignment at headquarters, Terry given Command
of E-33 in the Back Bay (one of the busiest companies
in the city). He remained at E-33 for 15 years until his
retirement on August 31, 2000 after 32 years of service.
A Memorial Service for Terry will be held
All are invited to attend this farewell for Terry.

MIFDI President Mark Roche regrets to report the death of MIFDI Charter Member Assistant Chief Arthur N. Corbertt of the Stoughton Fire Department on July 3, 2009 at age 81.
Arthur was born 10-27-1927
